I freelance — the free tier is genuinely production-quality for autocomplete. Switched from Copilot specifically because Codeium's individual plan is free indefinitely.

We can't send code to OpenAI. Codeium self-hosted on GPUs in our DC met the compliance bar. Quality is below Copilot but the alternative was no AI at all.
