The bundle size and runtime performance beat React frameworks consistently. Trade-off: smaller ecosystem, smaller talent pool, less mature deployment integrations. Best for teams that value runtime performance and developer experience over ecosystem size.

Solo dev productivity is the moat.
Svelte's ergonomics are unreasonably pleasant for solo builders. Less boilerplate. Less ceremony. SvelteKit gives me a real framework without the Next.js complexity tax.
